Organize Closet
Organize Your Closet And Brag About It!

One of the beautiful effects of improving an area of your life is
that you can inspire others with your story. There is nothing like
hearing how someone else succeeded in order to create the reality in
your mind that you too can change your life.
I hope that the stories below help you with the task to organize your
closet, and all areas of your life you would like to organize.
Please submit your success story to encourage and motivate others to
successfully organize their closet.
Kathy's Story

My husband is an electrician. He often has to remove his wedding ring
in order to work. One day he lost his wedding ring. He believed that it
was in the home of a client inside of their electrical box.
Years later I was cleaning out our "junk closet". This was the place
where I put things I did not use often or want to deal with. I took out
an organizer containing old receipts. Inside the organizer I found the
ring!
I have a new rule now in my home. We de-clutter regularly.

Your Kids Can Organize Their Own Closet!

The book Your Step by
Step Guide to Successfully Organizing Your Life includes directions
and tips to help your children organize their own closet, and keep it
that way.
Charity's Story

My children could never keep their room clean. They have a modest
size room with a very large deep closet. One day I decided to organize
their closet. I realized that it was difficult even for me to fit their
belongings into the closet space. There were only two shelves, a clothes
rack, some bins, and lots of unused space. So I put a small book shelf
into the closet, and a bean bag chair, with a light. This created an
place for their books as well as a quiet place to read them. My husband
installed more shelves and we put in a two tier rack. The kids are
delighted with their new closet. We let them paint it wild colors. And
now they actually have a place for their things.
Children love to organize their own
special area. If their closet is large enough make it into a fun area
for them to use and enjoy.
- Create a hobby or craft center in the closet
- Organize the closet to create a small reading, homework, or
"office" area
- Have your child help you select the shelves and organizers for
their closet
- Don't forget to ask your child how they would like to use and
organize their closet!
